Over the years John and I have maintained this website to provide information to users of the inland waterways of France & Belgium.
Sadly John has died after a seven year battle with cancer and our boat ”La Vie en Rose“ has been sold.
We will no longer be maintaining the site.
The information was current at August 2016 to the best of my knowledge and belief. But all the information has now been transferred to www.retireafloat.co.uk. from where it will be updated.
My books are still available from this site and the new site. John and I spent the last ten summers on the French canals and I am still happy to answer queries where I can be of help.
